Easy Memorial Day Recipes

Memorial Day is a day for for remembering those who passed away while serving in the United States Military. It should not be confused with Veterans Day, which celebrates the service of all military veterans. The holiday is currently celebrated on the last Monday in May and is considered the unofficial start of summer, while Labor Day is considered the end of summer.
As a military wife for 28 years, I ask that you please take some time this Memorial Day to honor fallen soldiers. Take some flowers to a local veterans cemetery, visit the spouse of a dead military member, or take a few minutes to say a prayer for our country.
