Product Review: Outback Pain Relief

Outback Pain Relief

I ordered this product about 2 weeks ago, after seeing it in my Amazon feed. I get most of my supplements from Amazon and order quite a few things related to Fibromyalgia, so naturally this product popped up in my feed. It was reasonably priced compared to other topical I have ordered, so I thought why not? Let’s give it a try!

I was skeptical, since other topical products never seem to go deep enough to get to the source of my pain. I was ecstatic that it was delivered in only 2 days, through snail mail, and their projected delivery date was over a week. I have a lot of back and leg pain, partly due to my Fibromyalgia, and partly because of a back injury I sustained in an auto accident in 2005. The fusion surgery I survived (I say survived, because it was an awful surgery and a hellacious recovery), two years later, that did nothing for my pain, and ability to function, but did keep me from being wheelchair bound for the rest of my life. My back and legs ache and spasm most of the time. I have found that Magnesium helps as a muscle relaxant, as well as, other supplements I take for inflammation, but nothing has ever worked better than good old fashion moist heat, until I tried Outback Pain Relief. Don’t get me wrong I still live and die by my hot tub, heating pads, long hot epsom salt baths (usually with a few drops of lavender essential oil), and heated mattress pad, but if I need to be out and about using Outback Pain Relief is a great alternative.

This is, as far as I can tell, a brand new product to the market and I’ve been practicing and teaching Natural Health for over 20 years, so I’ve been around awhile. As well as having been a Chronic pain sufferer myself for 12 years, I’m always on the look out for new products and I believe I would have heard about this one for sure! It advertises that it is for Joint pain, Back pain, Sports Injuries, and Muscular Aches and Pains. I can attest to its long lasting relief of all theses except, Sports Injuries since I have never been someone that enjoys playing sports (extremely high sense of self-preservation and I stink at them, anyway!). However next time my very athletic husband (it’s true what they say, opposites attract) hurts himself, which is only a matter of time, I will try it on him and let you know.

Just a quick overview of Outback Pain Relief: the first Active Ingredients is Eucalyptus oil, which is derived from the eucalyptus trees and used for its medicinal properties. Their healing power comes from the oil, which is made from the tree’s oval-shaped leaves. The main chemical components of Eucalyptus oil, eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol, give the essential oil a soothing, cooling vapor. Early research has shown Eucalyptus oil to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties when applied topically. The second Active Ingredient is Tea Tree oil, derived from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia, which is native to Southeast Queensland and the Northeast coast of New South Wales, Australia. Tea tree essential oil can provide relief from muscular pain, aches, and sprains because its strong chemical properties  work as a anti-inflammatory and also encourage blood flow to a specific areas (being a stimulant), which speeds up the healing process and increases the rate of new tissue and cellular growth. The only other ingredients are Inactive and are Olive oil, as a carrier oil, and Vanilla for scent. I for one was extremely happy about the vanilla, as I also have asthma and strong scents tend to aggravate my asthma, not to mention vanilla is one of my favorite scents!

Overall, this is an excellent product and I highly recommend it to anyone with muscle and joint pain. It definitely delivers what it advertises! This wonderful product is available at my Amazon store, link is in the menu. Thank you for visiting, come back real soon!!
