Muscle Cramps, spasms, Twitches, and tics are usually caused by vitamin and mineral deficiency or imbalance. Most cramping happens at night as minerals move between the blood, muscles, and bones. Muscle pain however can be caused by muscle strain, nerve compression, aging or injured joints, injuries, or diseases. The sudden or gradual onset of this pain can be distressing, especially if you have things that need to be accomplished or just want to relax. If you don’t want to take pills or more pills there are natural options.


Nutritional Therapies:

Eat a diet high in Vitamin C foods; leafy greens, citrus fruits, especially kiwi, brown rice, sprouts, broccoli, tomatoes, and bell peppers.

Eat potassium rich foods; bananas, broccoli, sunflower seeds, beans, and legumes, whole grains, and dried fruits.

Magnesium rich foods; lettuce, bell peppers, green leafy vegetables, molasses, nuts, and seafood.
